    • Love your blog! I was once a soldier in the Pacific. My Dad too. He was a 16-year old Marine who fought at some pretty nasty places like Guadalcanal and Bougainville.

If you happen to come by my site, be so kind as to add a story here and there or a link to a post of yours with a story.
Thank you for your service and that of your father!! What unit was he in?

      • Thank you. I will do that. What sort of stories are you looking for. I post mostly current events, political and societal in nature. I write some of my own content, and share a lot of items written by others that I consider newsworthy and add my own commentary in the form of a headline.

My sincere thanks for your service. Although dedicated to my father and his 11th Airborne Div.; I like to feel all my readers are part of a large story – and the more we put together, the better it is. I just finished your story of Omar Bradley and I must say that MORE than fits in to the theme.

My Dad was in the 1st Marine Division. He fought in the Solomon Islands, Guadalcanal and Bougainville, at 16 years old, which is mind-blowing to me.
